System logs

System Logs displays a snapshot of the ALMain.AL.AlertLog that displays activity, warning and error information for all users.

  • This log does not automatically refresh. You need to click the refresh icon to the right of Column headings to see any updates.
  • Only the last 250 entries are displayed.
  • Click on the Column headers to sort.
  • Export the log as a .txt file by clicking the Export button.
  • Clear the log by clicking the Clear button.

The following columns are displayed in the log:

Column Description
ID The unique ID for the log entry that will increment.
Created Date Date / Time that the log entry was generated.
Client The client name that the alert relates to. It is the same in each system, but is useful to administrators that look after multiple systems.
Alert The type of alert.
User ID The ID of the user that generated the alert.
Application The alchemy application or service where the alert originated from for example Web Service and Engine Listener Service.
Process ID ID of the application listed above.
Message Detailed alert description.
Stacktrace List of the functions that are being invoked by the process.
